Have you ever looked at somebody, someone you care about as a friend and realize they could be your person? That moment in your thoughts, that you realize, maybe you don’t have to wait anymore.
As a believer in Jesus Christ waiting can be difficult. I mean waiting can be difficult for anyone regardless of their beliefs.
God asks us to wait regularly for things. We become the Masters of waiting. All the struggles, all the mountains, and the valleys that we’ve been through in our lives, to come to this very moment. Broken relationships, the broken hearts, the disappointment, the trauma, brings you to this point.
We all have a story that follows us. The question is what have we learned from our past. The very reason for this website and the name of it.

When I look back at the footprints behind me, I can see a lot of signs and a lot of things that God put in my way that I ignored. We all do that. We all ignore the signs. If you’re a believer in Christ or not, signs are put in front of us everyday. It’s learning to read them that we fail at. And maybe if we all saw the signs earlier and actually took the time to read them carefully, we wouldn’t have had to wait as long. But would it be the same as if you waited. Only the Lord Knows that one.
But when you think about it. I’d rather wait, and learn so that when it’s my turn, it’s exactly what I needed.

[31] but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Sometime we need to be patient. Sit back and watch Gods unfailing love unfold before you. You get a front seat at a great and blessed unveiling of a God given chapter in your life. It’s a feeling like no other. A peace that runs over you and fills your cup.
I know what your thinking. You don’t have the patents for that. ADHD at its finest. But hear me out. Has pushing or taking the rains your self made you happy, are you actually truly fulfilled. Do you ever feel like something is missing or not quite right. If your uncomfortable or uneasy in your relationship. Maybe pay attention.
I felt all these things. I didn’t listen and I was unhappy and uncomfortable. I finally stopped trying to make it work myself and let God take the rains of my life.
My new chapter (that I’m still going through) started with selling everything and giving myself to missions. This strengthened my spiritual walk and healed me from past trauma. This opened the door for more things that God had paned for me.
This brings me back to staring at someone special. Can’t believe he is right in front of me and calls me his girlfriend. Being friends first really does makes a difference. God says His way will not be confusing. He will take up out of our comfort zone. That is for sure. I mean this man got me in a gym and working along side him. I mean a walk or bike ride is my thing but the gym.
Learn to listen, Hear God and don’t question. Satan will try and confuse you. So listen carefully to God. He will not lead you a stray. Trust me, this chapter I’m in, I wouldn’t trade for anything. Only took 44 years but totally worth it.
