In previous posts, you have heard me talk about how some people are sent to us as angels. Sometimes we don’t even know or realize they are in front of us. A new friend, family member, Pastor or even a stranger. Could even be an animal. These people give you advise, help you in time of need or just simply sit with you.
I sit by the water thinking about the people in my life that have impacted me and my walk in life. My first memory goes strait to my dad. He wasn’t just dad. He was my best friend. He guided us as kids. He didn’t push or rush us. He had this gentle way about him. He made our home safe. He was a great example to us kids, by how he treated our mom. A great example of how the head of a home should be. Keith Johnston April 1947 – Sept 2013
Don’t underestimate the people around you. They could be an Angel in disguise. Sometimes its in the form of tough love, or a lessening ear. Could be advise or just someone to laugh with. When I look back on my life I can see a few people that God brought into my life at the right time. Some only for a short time and others still in my life to this day.
Last year Fairhaven’s had a dear soul and friend pass away. She was a mom, wife and sister. To Fairhaven’s she was a beloved friend. She impacted so many in her short time on this earth. God used her in many ways. I only had a handful of time to interact with her. But she was so vibrant and a beautiful person. She lit up every room she walked into. We have a bench in a garden on the water at Fairhaven in her name. I have sat there a few times. Vicki Passed June 13 2024.
Who in your life has impacted you? Do you have that one person that draws you? Who left you footprints of memories? Better yet who have you impacted? Have you been an Angel to someone who needs it?
You never know what people are going through. You could be that Angel they need. Never walk away from the opportunity to touch someone. It might be exactly what they need.
God bless all your Angels, passed and still serving you.
My the Lord Bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. My the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 Amen
