Man kids grow up fast. Yes I’m talking about my kids growing like weeds. No drug talks hear. lol
I can’t seem to keep up with my boys as they take each year on. My 15 year old has surpassed me in height and starts driving in September. Makes me feel old but proud.
They start off needing you and depend on you to do things for them. Make decisions and guiding them to where they need to be. Remember when they reach up asking uppy or wanting your full attention. Kiss my bobo mommy, Don’t leave my room, rub my back and sing me to sleep. Then before you know it they don’t need you to help them and hugs and kisses are a treat. An I love you mom makes you skip a beat. Then its girlfriends, a job or collage and you become a thing of their past.
Then for most parents, there is a mom we are coming to visit. Then and engagement and wedding that makes you feel like you are sitting on the outside yet proud. Then congrats your a grandparent and if your lucky you can spoil them rotten.
For most being apart of your kids life after collage or university is a blessing. I can only hope I’m one of those moms. A fate that I leave in Gods hands.
For now at the ages of 14 and 15 here in 2022 I can only take one step at a time and pray its enough to get them through. One foot print at a time and leave it to God.
My little men are growing like weeds. They are not little anymore but little men they will be to me.
Love you Chris and Cory.
You are the apple of my eye, and the reason I leave footprints in the sand. Each footprint is a memory for you to remember me by.
Love mom
